Project Manager, Blueline Associates, Inc. 

June 2015 - August 2017 Manage a commercial construction project from initial client contact to completion. Includes business development, sales, contract negotiation from scope of work to price estimate, scheduling, coordination of all subcontractors, monitoring job costs and progress billings, obtaining all permits and inspection sign-offs, weekly onsite coordination meetings, and securing Certificate of Occupancy for tenant move-in. The goal is to meet the clients' expectations from both a time and cost perspective while delivering a top quality finished project.

Business Development includes building relationships with property managers, commercial real estate brokers, building owners and tenants.

Building relationships, whether that be with my foremen, field employees, subcontractors, or clients is the highlight of my work.

Business Development at Turman Commercial Painters

March 2003 - June 2015 Over the tenure of my employment the company increased its sales from $8M to $24M and expanded its market from a 2 office West-Coast company to an 8-office National company.

Business Development: developed new and maintained existing client relationships; worked with local contacts at national contractors to expand the company reach nationally

Estimator: used my architectural background to effectively understand and read plans to take off and quantify values and bid projects as various as small tenant improvement to hospitals, hotels, schools, and distribution warehouses

Project Manager: managed landed work from inception to completion including scheduling and manpower, and finances to keep projects on time and on budget, ultimately delivering a quality project for our contractors

Office Management: oversaw sales and estimator teams as well as general office administration

Designer

June 1996 - March 2003 Worked with Senior Architect on all phases of custom home building including land acquisition, engineering, design approvals from government agencies, permitting, home design, client relationships.
